Missions Update 7/2 & Operation St. Cloud
This post has been long overdue. I wanted to let you know that I am at 100% funding for both Operation St. Cloud and Nicaragua! Also, Operation St. Cloud took place nearly three weeks ago. It was an amazing week in which God worked in too many ways to say. One such way was in holding off the bad weather for our outdoor sports camp each afternoon. Another was in in how He brought our team together and caused us to work better together than anyone could have imagined! One more was in how much interest the children (including a number of the Somali children) in learning more about Jesus. It was such an encouragement! Anyhow, I wanted to share with you some pictures from our trip.
P.S. I know I haven't written much on Operation St. Cloud this year, but I would love to talk to you in person and tell you more!
{Prayer walk}
{Goat (never thought I'd be saying I'd eaten - and enjoyed - goat), chicken, & etc. at the Somali Cafe}
{Worship}
{In the kitchen... I have never been one to get excited about washing dishes, but I was disappointed not to get to use this dishwasher again.}
{Playing fishbowl!}
{Sports Camp... I loved getting to connect with the children both at the sports camp and picking them up and dropping them off before and after!}
{Hannah... This look pretty much sums her up.}
{GO VOLLEYBALL!}
{Kale was having a rough morning...}
{Brit's birthday surprise}
{The girls were actually ARGUING about who got to read US the gospel. It was an amazing little moment of encouragement!}
{Wayne, and the Calvary kitchen crew. I know I speak for all of us when I say we will miss working in the kitchen.}
P.S. I know I haven't written much on Operation St. Cloud this year, but I would love to talk to you in person and tell you more!
