Last Sunday, I found myself volunteering to collect 200 pictures of the Nicaragua 2012 trip (which I was not involved with) in preparation for the Nicaragua Banquet we (the team) is putting on. "How hard can it be?" I thought. Brimming with enthusiasm, I came home from the meeting and devoted my entire afternoon to gathering photographs from all reaches of the internet (i.e. Andres Almarza of
Alma Films and Madison Hultgren).
Looking through the 800+ photos, seeing faces of men, women, and children, had me nearly in tears. I was hungry to serve. I want to be there, meeting people, talking about God with them, working butt off and getting up at 5 a.m. with the buses. If I could, I would probably already be on a plane. And I think that this is the general feeling of many of the other team-members. So I wanted to share just a few of the the pictures from last year...
